  • About 60 linear feet of archival records in the University Archives

Our Facilities

  • 1,035 study seats in the John L. Haar and Alberta College Libraries
  • Over 190 student use Windows and Mac computer workstations 
  • 29 bookable student group study rooms with 213 seats
  • 2 instructional computer labs with 40 seats each
  • A flexible, multipurpose room that seats 32
  • 3 service desks (Borrower Services, Reference and Research Services, and Technology Support)
  • Printing area including four 3D printers

Our Services

  • Over 169,000 items circulated 
  • Borrowed 3,500 items from other libraries via interlibrary loan (ILL) for MacEwan borrowers 
  • Loaned almost 2,000 items to other libraries via ILL 
  • Titles in our reserve textbook collection circulated 13,652 times
  • Over 500,000 searches conducted on the MacEwan Library website
  • Over 31,000 reference questions answered 
  • 540 information literacy classes delivered to about 13,500 students
  • Approximately 9,200 photo identification/library cards and ID badges issued
  • Over 200 student use laptops and iPads available to borrow
  • A secure charging station is available at each campus library
