Jane Duffy
Originally from Toronto, Jane Duffy has been an academic librarian for almost 30 years. She has been a Public Services Librarian at MacEwan University Library since 2012 with professional specializations that include: Reference and Research Services, Academic Library Services to International Students & New Canadians, Information & Digital Literacy, and AI in the University Classroom. Jane serves as the Liaison Librarian in the following subject areas: Mathematics & Statistics, Engineering, Emergency Communication, English as an Additional Language, University Preparation, Professional Health Education, and Public Safety & Justice Studies. In 2021, in fulfillment of her MACT at the University of Alberta, Jane completed a capstone project on Student Evaluations of University Teaching.
Nicolle Lemay
Nicolle Lemay has completed degrees in Psychology, Education, and Library Studies at the University of Alberta. She has worked at a wide variety of libraries, including Edmonton Public Library and the libraries at Lakeland College. Nicolle began her career at MacEwan in 2004 and served as the library’s chair from 2015 to 2021.
As the coordinator of library services, Nicolle is interested in how students use the library’s physical spaces, as well as its numerous services.
