Molecular Biology of the Cell

While selecting a textbook as a source of inspiration may seem absurd, Alberts truly did spark my curiosity about the cell and its biology. As an undergraduate, I would read Alberts for pleasure, alongside historical fiction and Harry Potter. The intricacy and elegance of the inner workings of the cell were amazing to me then and continue to astound me, as additional discoveries only add to the wonder that is this tiny natural world.
