The road to achieving tenure during the global pandemic and ensuing instability was difficult, as it was for many of my students. This heartwarming book was suggested to me by a student, and is now one I suggest to other students, so I know it is a book that has provided comfort and inspiration to many. It reminds us to live with kindness, empathy, and compassion, both to others and ourselves.
