The MacEwan ID Card is your University ID and Library Card and is for all students, staff, and faculty. Find out how to request a new card or replace a lost card.

This card is your official University ID and Library Card. Use of the MacEwan ID Card is subject to the terms and conditions listed in the MacEwan Cardholder Agreement.

To request a new or replacement MacEwan ID Card:

Live outside the Edmonton area? Use our Distance Education Card Request Form

You must be registered in at least one class before a card can be created for you.

Lost Cards

If your MacEwan ID Card is lost, report it to the library as soon as possible. There is a $10.00 replacement fee for lost cards.

Faculty and Staff

Submit your photo using our MacEwan ID Photo Upload Form. You will be contacted when your card is ready for pickup. Haven't received your pickup email yet? Contact library@macewan.ca

Your photo and MacEwan ID card can also be created in person across from the Library Services desk.

Retirees

MacEwan retirees can borrow from our library collection and have on-campus access to licensed databases, e-books, and other online resources. Contact library@macewan.ca with your account details (name and barcode number) to have your borrowing privileges updated. (Remote access to our online resources is not available to retirees due to licensing restrictions)

Alumni

MacEwan University Alumni are eligible for MacEwan Alumni ID, which also acts as your library card. To find out if you qualify, please email library@macewan.ca or call 780-497-5850.

Alumni can borrow from our library collection and have on-campus access to licensed databases and e-books. (Remote access to our online resources is not available to alumni due to licensing restrictions)
