Ijaz Janmohamed

Ijaz is Bachelor of Music student currently researching Asian-Islamic and Black American music and performance. He focuses on their relations to ethnomusicology, music pedagogy, and social post/de/anticolonial theories. As a writing tutor, Ijaz is interested in engaging with writers who wish to write beyond the centrality of English in academic and personal writing. When Ijaz isn’t in the Library, he’s usually reading South Asian literature, practicing and listening to music, or learning his heritage languages.
