Citation Guides

Citation is an important part of the writing process. It allows the writer to give proper credit to the author whose ideas they use in their writing. This creates a pathway for the reader to both examine how the referenced evidence supports the paper's arguments and locate sources for further examination.

Citation Tutorials

MacEwan students can access two mêskanâs tutorials on the subject of citation: Citation and Scholarship: APA and Citation and Scholarship: MLA. These tutorials have two parts. The first part introduces the rhetorical perspective on citation practices across the disciplines, and the second part introduces the underlying principles of APA and MLA style, respectively.

Writing Guides

Writing is a process, and many students struggle with knowing where to start. These resources can help you move forward through the stages of writing.
