The Writing Centre typically runs its hiring process in March/April, with successful applicants beginning their new positions in late August/September. As writing takes place across disciplines, we seek to hire broadly from the arts and humanities, sciences, and social sciences, and therefore welcome applicants from any field of study.

Applicants must have successfully completed WRIT 250: The Practice and Pedagogy of Tutoring Writing by the position’s start date to be considered. Please note that WRIT 250 is only offered during the Winter semester. Equivalent academic or Writing Centre experience may be considered under exceptional circumstances.
