Children's Area

The Children's Area is located in a sunny nook on the east side of the main floor of the library. It houses our juvenile collection, which is used by various programs, including Early Childhood Curriculum studies, and is also intended for browsing and borrowing.

Family Care Room

Attached to the Children's Area is the Family Care Room (6-201E), which is intended to provide a more private area for those who have children on campus, or who may be looking for a space to nurse or pump. We have a variety of toys and games, largely aimed at kids aged 2 - mid elementary, and busy boxes with more activities are available for 4 hour loans from the Library Services Desk.

While these spaces are open for everyone to use, priority is given to children and families, and nursing parents.

If you have a suggestion or concern about the space, please email library@macewan.ca
