Pausch's The Last Lecture is a significant book for me. I listened to Pausch's Last Lecture on youtube and then read the book at a time when I was seeking direction. His overarching theme is embrace your dreams and lead your life engaged and with integrity. One point that has resonated with me is 'brick walls are there to show you what you really want'.
