Textbook Collection

Note: There is no access to the physical collection until further notice. Use our Scan on Demand Service to scan portions of print books in our collection as permitted under Canadian Copyright law (for MacEwan students, staff, and faculty only) - Requests will be processed Monday-Friday.

The Textbook Collection is intended to make most required course textbooks available for students to borrow. The library has purchased 1 copy of each textbook, for classes with a minimum enrolment of 20 students, and a purchase cost of $50 or more. Multiple copies have been purchased for large classes. The Library will consider requests for textbooks that fall outside of these parameters. Textbooks are on reserve and available for a 2 hour loan period during the day. Textbooks may go out overnight at 8:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 4:00 p.m. Friday-Sunday, and must be returned within 1 hour of the library opening the next day.

Textbooks are available at the Library Borrower Services Desk. Students should know the title of the textbook they wish to borrow. A list of your textbooks is available through the MacEwan Bookstore website http://macewanbookstore.com/courselistbuilder.aspx
