Nursing (and related health) print books ready for review

Rightsizing

A list of nursing and related health titles identified for removal is available here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oapT6aAYz41UQCPDAbNYsZm4DKvFmI6Iwl_r-kfOTh4/edit?usp=sharing

The spreadsheet is organized into tabs by library call number range: R-RT; QM; GV; HD7255-7256; HV1400-3022; TX. The Library of Congress includes a general description of call number ranges, which may assist you in your review: https://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/lcco/

NOTE: The full R-RT sheet - Tab 1 - contains over 2200 items. In case shorter lists are preferred, the Rs have been further broken down by smaller call number ranges - See Tabs 7-17.

Items were identified for removal based on a variety of factors, including availability of newer editions (and multiple copies), age of items (most flagged items are over 10 years old), and use (a majority of items listed have never been signed out).

In total there are 3213 items listed that are currently flagged for removal, however this represents a very small fraction of what is available both online and on the shelf.

If there are any titles on these lists that you feel should be retained, please let Jody Nelson (jody.nelson@macewan.ca) know by end of day Thursday, December 19.
