Faculty can place high demand materials on reserve for their students. Due to their high demand, these reserve items have a much shorter loan period, ranging from two hours to three days. They can be asked for at the appropriate Borrower Service desk.
Course specific electronic reserves items (readings, videos, etc.) can be accessed in a few ways. They can be reached through https://ereserves.macewan.ca/, the My Account link at the top of the page, or through Blackboard.
A copy of most required textbooks can be borrowed from the John L. Haar libraries Borrower Services desk for two hours, with no renewals, on a first-come first-served basis; availability cannot always be guaranteed. To expedite the process, the staff will need the title of the textbook you wish to borrow, which is available on the Bookstore website, and its call number, which can be found by searching the title of the book using the main search on the library website, and limiting your search to books.
