Why?
- Putting materials in our Reserve Collection simplifies students' access to required course materials.
- It also provides students with equitable access to required course materials.
- Reserves allow instructors to selectively provide needed material to their students.
How?
Determine which materials in the Library are essential to the curriculum and will be in high demand for students. If we do not carry the titles you need, contact your Program Contact to request the titles be purchased.
1) Place a system request for each item you wish to place in the reserve collection. Add “For Reserve” and your contact information in the Comment field. Staff from the library will contact you to sort out the details of your request.

2) Or… Retrieve the required items from the collection and deliver them to the Borrower Services or Information Desk at your campus library. Carefully complete the Reserve Request Form supplied at the desk to ensure the information provided is accurate.
