Personal Statement About this Work
As we grow into the challenges of life, we often need to relearn how to slow down, play, find humour, tap into our imagination and connect with ourselves and each other. These skills foster good mental health and well-being so I try to invite them into the work I do in helping students here at MacEwan. While I don’t rely on this book in session, I often revisit it at different moments in my own life to connect with these skills and connect with those that I love. I believe everything happens in the context of relationships, so when we can find time to nurture our relationships and connect, the better off we are for it. In the very least, this book is great for a giggle. Enjoy!
